The Design Process
At Steve Ryan Designs we work with Clients to help them achieve the home they’ve always dreamed of. We work closely with our Clients to assess their needs, taste and lifestyle to provide them with a result tailored to reflect who they are and make their home a joy to live in. Whether your style is Contemporary, Traditional or Transitional, we believe that the Design Process should be fun, even when renovating (which can be exhausting and stressful for Clients) so we cover everything required to make the whole project as enjoyable as possible.
Every project, big or small, begins with a two hour consultation so that we can determine the scope of services Clients will need. If the Client then wishes to hire us to install the project, we handle floor/lighting/electrical plans, select all finishes, fabrics, case and upholstered goods, and provide digital or hand drawn renderings of our goals for the finished space for the Client to approve (see example pics below). We then follow through the project until the end of install day to the final reveal. Click on the Our Work page to see our portfolio.

Think Designers Are Only For The Rich?
We get it: you’d love to hire a Designer but you just don’t think you can afford it. Maybe you’re a first time home owner or bought a “fixer-upper” thinking you could tackle things yourself and feel overwhelmed but don’t think you have the money to bring in a professional. You’re wrong! You can hire a Designer *just for a two hour Consultation*. At Steve Ryan Designs, we can advise you on your project during that meeting and set you on the right path to achieve your Design vision so you can move forward on your own with confidence. Check the Our Work page for a list of some of the services we can provide.
Don’t Believe Me? Here’s An Example
The gallery below is some progress footage of a basement Bathroom project. The wonderful Client was turning their basement into a one bedroom they intended to rent out and couldn’t afford to hire us to design the space for them so they hired us for a two hour Consultation. There was only a toilet stack and concrete floor. We advised them on everything from layout to safety requirements and Building Code. We made suggestions on elements for the bathroom and showed them inspiration photos of how their bathroom could look. We then advised them to take that photo to a tile showroom and a vendor we work with was able to help them select tiles to achieve their vision with great success.
EVERYONE DESERVES TO LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL SPACE.
